CIT and the Cosgrove Hall Films Archive present Ben Jackson, Baz Sells and Sanna Rasanen from One6th Animation in conversation with host Ric Michael (University of Salford).

This evening includes a screening of their multi-award winning animated short, Two Black Boys in Paradise, and will also celebrate One6th’s journey from a small independent studio to being multi-award winners, including the BAFTA for best British short animation.

Ben, Baz and Sanna will share insights into how they’ve done it and provide advice and guidance for animators and film-makers who are seeking to develop a strategy for their own work.

This event is perfect for aspiring animators, recent graduates, filmmakers and animation enthusiasts.

The Manchester Made Craft Fair returns to Waterside for the seventh edition this summer. The event will again be a well presented tabletop fair of high quality handmade contemporary craft and design.

Visitors can expect a varied mix of crafts including jewellery, ceramics, textiles, print and woodwork in and around the distinctive Chambers here at Waterside. This year’s Manchester Made Craft Fair will include an interiors edit, bringing together a collection of makers creating contemporary handmade products for the home.

Waterside Arts and Creative Industries Trafford work in partnership with Jo Lavelle from A Great Find Manchester and co-founder of Sale Arts Trail to produce the Manchester Made Craft Fairs.
