Led by voice coach Paul McFadden, this two-part workshop series is suitable for artists and creatives seeking more knowledge and confidence in public speaking - during interviews, developing online content and when presenting their work in public and online.
These workshops series aims to empower artists to make the most from opportunities to talk about their work when meeting with commissioners, programmers, funders and curators, or when asked to talk about their work.
The workshops will take place over two sessions, the first on March 20 2026 and the second on April 28 2026.
The first session will focus on developing the skills and techniques, including breath control, posture and projecting your voice - for how to get yourself ready so that you’re able to be relaxed and speak confidently about your work in a range of settings.
The second session will be an opportunity to share within the group how you’ve been able to apply learnings from the first workshop. This will include a chance for reflection and further guidance on next steps as you continue to refine your presentation skills.
These events are a safe and supportive environment where creatives can learn key pitching and presentation skills.
