CIT Short Story Course

Through this six-part course, led by acclaimed writer David Gaffney, participants had the opportunity to hone their skills in short story writing. 

The course provided participants with some time, space and inspiration to develop your craft, voice and style. 

The course is usually open to writers of all genres of short fiction, with opportunities to develop your favourite genre further and support if you want to try something new. 

With structured feedback on your work from other course participants and the tutor, some practical theory and writing activities during the session, it will be a relaxed, enjoyable, inclusive and encouraging space to explore your creativity. 

Throughout the workshops, you will get the chance to have your writing professionally and peer critiqued, and gain the tools and information needed for submitting work in the future.
