ORIGINS
Origins is a collection of short fiction commissioned by CIT and a selection of flash fiction from the annual CIT Flash Fiction Competition, now in its third year.
The collection is about starting points – either thematically, or professionally – for those writers featured here whose work has never been published before.
Origins features The DNA of Bats by Jane Rogers, a co-commission with Manchester Literature Festival, alongside work by authors who submitted stories to CIT’s annual flash fiction competition which is judged by David Gaffney, one of the UK's leading practitioners of flash fiction.
